I’m so glad that even though this year was a difficult and strange one, we were able to still move forward and adapt in one way or another to this new normality. While some weddings had to be postponed because of the safety concerns, the uncertainty and the constantly changing rules, others were able to transform into small, intimate ceremonies or even elopements. The important thing is that love was not canceled…love adapted and transformed.

So, when Lili form Marbella Wedding first contacted me for Kevin and Alvaro’s elopement and she briefed me on the concept, I was so happy to see that even though we live strange times and we have to make compromises, it doesn’t mean that we have to miss key elements that are important for us and that make our big day special.

It was such a pleasure for me to create the custom stationery for their laid back, nature inspired, elopement by the lake in Malaga countryside. I got the chance to put together some of my absolute favorite elements for wedding stationery such as handmade paper and vellum, and pair them with hand painted watercolor and unique handcrafted macramé details to create this special custom design that fit perfectly with their elopement décor and aesthetics.

I hope you enjoy seeing how their big day turned out at least as much as I enjoyed working on each and every piece of their stationery!
